Fishing Rules Domaine de la Maridèle

Tackle & Rigs:

• No braided mainline
• Minimum 12lb main line, maximum 15lb
• Barbless hooks only
• Tubing must be used
• No leadcore leaders, shock leaders or nylon leaders
• Safe rigs only – no fixed leads, leads must eject safely in case of a breakage

Bait Rules:

• The use of tiger nuts is not allowed
• Any form of particle must be freshly prepared

Fish Care:

• Carp care kit must be carried and used on all hook holds
• Mats are provided
• All anglers must use a landing net, sling and unhooking mat
• No sacking of fish – fish may only be retained in the net whilst camera equipment is prepared
• No fish to be lifted above knee height
• Any signs of distressed or damaged fish must be reported
• No fish to be killed

Lake Rules:

• Bait boats are permitted
• Maximum of two rods per person
• Night fishing is not allowed
• No fishing in the second lake (no licence for that lake)
• No swimming
